Classic traditional chili is one of my very favorite recipes to make. It is a dump and go kind of chili and uses only one pot to make. It is so simple and has SO much flavor. You can't go wrong with this chili recipe.

Instructions to make Chili:

  1. Brown meat in pot or dutch oven Strain fat and set of to side in a bowl.
  2. Add 1 tbsp olive oil to pan and cook pepper, jalapeno, onion, and garlic until soft about 6 minutes.
  3. Add seasoning to peppers and onions. Stir and cook for a few minutes..
  4. If using a crockpot – add meat, peppers, onions, beans, tomatos, and tomato sauce to slow cooker. Mix together. Set on high for 4 hours or low 6-8 hours..
  5. If making this stove top – add meat, drained beans, canned tomato, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, then cover and lower to a simmer for 1.5-2 hours.
  6. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, scallions, or whatever you prefer. Enjoy!.

It is simple to make and only uses one pot. Place the ground beef in a large pot and throw in the garlic. Cook over medium heat until browned.
